You are viewing the most recent 20 entries March 11th, 2009: Well, Watchmen sucked... buuuuuuuuut maybe theres another good movie coming out this year i dunno AND I WANT MY SCALPS! March 8th, 2009: watchmen... was terrible. the way they changed the ending didn't even piss me off, it's just...like two different people wrote the movie. some things they kept ridiculously, really, pointlessly close to the comic. ok i get it, this looks the same as it did in a panel. woo. but hey, let's change the fucking lines. i don't even know what they were trying to fucking DO with the movie. at least when i saw league of extraordinary gentlemen, i knew they were trying to dumb down the plot for joe actionmovie, but jesus. watchmen is left confusing as fuck for somebody who didn't read the book but just saaw the movie, and irritating to the point of fucking insanity for anyone who did. i don't know who they targetted, and i don't blame david hayter (solid fuckin snakeeee) the movie just comes off how i was scared it would a movie raped, jizzed on, and fucking beaten by the suits. they took any subtlety and ambiguity that made the book so fun to read, and fucking SPOON FED IT to middle america. it's like they read everything alan moore said he hated about hollywood fucking with his shit, laughed at it, then did it 10x worse to what most consider his best comic. zack snyder, he did a great job of 300, because it wasn't really dependent on the acting and was just really an action book. he didn't do anything other than copy the book to the movie. but watchmen is fucking different. alan moore was right, it doesn't transfer well to film. go read the book, go see the movie so it'll do well and maybe they'll make a Dark Knight Returns movie, and just fucking, jesus... the movie is like diarrhea shit in an open wound. i hate to nerdrage, but it is. fuck. and some people fucking LIKED it. i dunno, i looked forward to this movie. for months. like a child looking forward to getting a computer for christmas, then opening up a fucking speak and spell. perfect analogy for this movie. fucking perfect. fuck everyone who has ever lived. die die die in a fire. October 1st, 2007July 28th, 2007: stuff updates, um... gonna try to get into law school next year and going to see THE SIMPSONS MOVIE tonight. it'd better be fucking amazing and i better be satisfied with going to see THE SIMPSONS MOVIE. i had a dream last night that the simpsons movie was sold out and i had to go see harry potter instead and it was awful. the WIZARDRY. June 22nd, 2007June 21st, 2007: well..it's happening i said they should kill the sonic franchise, it's shit now. the fun games of the past have given way to 3d shit (sonic 3d blast onward) i used to play these games every day: sonic CD earthworm jim 1/2 super mario rpg general chaos but yeah, back on topic...sonic games now are shit. i rented the new one for 360 and wanted to murder myself. it was shit, the camera was shit and it loaded every 30 seconds. sega isn't even Sega the Great anymore, nothing like the dreamcast days with those 80,000 amazing capcom fighting games, or the genesis days with their great sports and platform games. sega is owned in majority by Sammy. theory: more disc space=voices and voices hurt ALL old school game characters. anyway... main point here BIOWARE (the people who made star wars knights of the old republic and the upcoming Mass(turbatory) Effect.) are making a DS Sonic RPG. I KNOW. it's going to be gayer than a colony of jizz farmers.... but still, i'll play it. bioware made MDK2; that game was pretty neat imo anyway, yeah...i guess i respect an old video game franchise (somewhat) again.
